Dan is a Rhode Island native and from a young age was involved in 4-H agriculture clubs where he was also a beekeeper. After high school Dan attended Rhode Island College for a 2-year business management degree. He then went on to join the Army in 1982 where he served as a wire system installer and operator, also known as a lineman. This 4 year service brought him to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he later worked in roofing before starting his own company in 1989 where he specialized in commercial uplifts, residential remodeling, additions and any other service that was needed. Two years later he partnered with Weaver Development and helped build the business.
In the face of hard times during the 2007-2008 Recession, Dan decided to go back to Commercial Upfits until he joined Bill Clark Homes and helped move the company into Moore County. He worked with Bill Clark Homes for 6 years until they sold the Fayetteville Division to H&H Homes. However, 2 and ½ years later, Tom Stafford of Red Door Homes asked him to join the team and Dan said yes!
Dan loves working with people, especially one on one with the customers to ensure he is doing everything he can to make sure they are happy and satisfied. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking, cooking, gardening, fishing and hunting.
