Kay has a BS in Business Administration from UNC-Greensboro. After graduating, she began her career in banking, becoming an Assistant Vice President with Wachovia Bank. Seeking a new challenge, she changed career paths and have worked in new home sales and sales management throughout North Carolina with both small regional and large national home building companies for the past 22 years. "Building new homes for North Carolina families has never been just a job for me, it's my passion!", Kay says.

She has a husband, 2 adult children, and 2 beautiful grandchildren, now her American Bulldog, Brew, is her only child left at home! Kay loves boating, skeet shooting, riding 4-wheelers and being a foodie.
